Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nut meats, broken in pieces
    3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Set the oven at 350\u00b0.
    Line a 7 x 7 x 2-inch pan with heavy wax paper cut to fit.
    Butter the paper.
    Melt the butter and add all the other ingredients to it.
    Stir well.
    Spread in pan. Bake for 25 minutes.
    Cut in strips or squares while still warm. Let cool and lift out of pan.
    Peel off any bits of paper that stick to brownies.
