Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick melted butter
2 Tbsp. ReaLemon juice
1 c. buttermilk
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. lemon extract
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, melted butter and lemon extract until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time and beat.
Then add buttermilk and mix until creamy.
Pour into deep 9-inch unbaked pastry shell. Cook 10 to 15 minutes at 450\u00b0 (until set).
Reduce heat and finish baking at 300\u00b0 until knife comes clean when tested (about 45 minutes).
Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.
