Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream
    sugar,
    eggs, shortening and vanilla.
    Add flour, soda, cream
    of tartar and nuts.\tWork until soft dough.\tChill 3 hours. Work
    in
    enough
    flour
    to roll out.
    Cut in desired shapes or roll
    dough
    in
    small
    balls
    and\tpress out with a floured fork onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes until done.
