Oatmeal Caramelitas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and margarine in bowl to form crumbs.
    Press half of crumbs into bottom of 9-inch square greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate pieces and nuts over baked crust.
    Mix caramel topping and flour; drizzle over chocolate pieces and nuts. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over caramel topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Chill for easy cutting.
    Makes 24 bars.
