Bake-It-All Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    9 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. (4 Tbsp.) double-acting baking powder
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder; stir well.
    Sift into large bowl or pan.
    Add shortening; use pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal and small peas.
    Mix is ready to use or to store in a canister in a cool, dry area.
    Use as you would use a commercially prepared biscuit mix.
    Yields about 12 cups.
