Lasagne Roll-Ups - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 pieces cooked lasagne
1 qt. prepared spaghetti sauce
1 lb. Italian sausage or ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
12 oz. carton cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
1 egg, beaten
grated Parmesan cheese (if desired)
Preparation

Spread 2 cups of spaghetti sauce over bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
In large skillet, brown sausage with onion over medium heat.
Drain.
Add bread crumbs, salt, basil, pepper, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, Ricotta cheese and egg.
Mix together.
Cut each lasagne noodle in half crosswise.
Spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of sausage mixture evenly on each half.
Roll up from shorter side and place seam down in pan.
Pour remaining sauce over top.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
