Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 c. butter/margarine
    1 c. pecan halves
    9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar.
    Add a dash of salt, corn syrup, butter and pecan halves.
    Pour into the unbaked pastry shell.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
    Cool before cutting.
