Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean beef, cut up
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. fat
    2 c. water
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 onions, chopped
    6 carrots, chopped
    6 potatoes, chopped
    1 c. green peas
Preparation
    Wipe beef with damp cloth.
    Roll meat in flour; brown in fat in heavy saucepan.
    Add water, tomato sauce and seasonings.
    Cover tightly and cook over low heat until almost tender, about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
