Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    2/3 c. dates
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1 lb. can pumpkin
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2/3 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs, pumpkin and water. Sift dry ingredients into pumpkin mix and stir well.
    Stir in nuts and dates. Put into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
