Shepherd'S Pie(Servings: 10) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground round or lamb, ground
    2 pkg. brown gravy mix
    1 pkg. frozen English peas
    5 carrots, sliced
    5 large potatoes, peeled and boiled
    1 tsp. salt to taste
    1 tsp. pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Brown meat using salt, pepper and garlic.
    Do not overcook. Prepare brown gravy mix per directions.
    Steam peas and carrots until slightly firm.
    Combine meat, vegetables and gravy in
    9 x 12-inch baking dish.
    Mash boiled potatoes, seasoned and whip until very smooth.
    Spread mashed potatoes on top of casserole. Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for approximately 25 minutes or until potatoes start to brown.
    Suggested Wine:
    Merlot or Guiness extra stout.
