Old Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 4 eggs, beaten
1 c. Karo brown syrup (blue label)
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. or more pecans
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
Preparation

Mix ingredients as given.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes or 1 hour.
