Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    1 slightly beaten egg
    6 to 7 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Shred Cheddar cheese.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Combine milk, sugar, shortening and salt in a saucepan.
    Heat until shortening melts.
    Cool mixture to 105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0.
    Add milk mixture, egg and 2 cups flour to yeast mixture.
    Stir until smooth.
    Stir in cheese.
    Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
