Orange Prune Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. orange juice
    2 c. chopped prunes
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour 1 cup of boiling orange juice over prunes; let stand for 15 minutes.
    Cream sugar and shortening, then add eggs and stir well.
    Add prune mixture, flour, salt and soda; mix well, then add the nuts.
    Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
