24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh spinach (bite size pieces)
    1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 small head lettuce, cut into bite size pieces
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
    10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
    1 small red onion, thinly sliced
    1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Layer in following order:
    spinach (sprinkled with salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon sugar), bacon, eggs, lettuce (sprinkled with salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon sugar), peas, onion, mayonnaise (spread over top), Swiss and Cheddar cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate, toss and serve next day.
