Shortcut Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/2 oz.) box white cake mix
    3 eggs, separated
    1 stick softened oleo
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake mix, egg yolks, oleo, buttermilk and vanilla with electric mixer.
    Fold in coconut, pecans and 3 stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Frost with Cream Cheese Icing.
