Fruit Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening/oleo
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can fruit pie filling (cherry, apple, blueberry, lemon)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, 1 at a time.
Beat well after each.
Add vanilla.
Add 1 cup flour at a time.
Beat well after each.
Spread 3/4 of the dough on greased high-sided cookie sheet (jelly roll pan).
Spread pie filling on top.
Drop rest of dough on top by big spoonfuls.
Spread it around somewhat.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
