Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. tomatoes
    2 c. onion
    2 c. sweet pepper
    2 c. hot pepper (more or less as desired)
    1/4 c. garlic
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 c. catsup
    1/4 c. pickling salt
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes, onion and pepper in food processor.
    Mix all ingredients in large pot and bring to boil, stirring often.
    Cook for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
    Scald jars.
    Heat lids.
    Put sauce into jars and seal tightly.
    Turn jars upside down until sauce cools.
