Peach Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1 box white or yellow cake mix
    1 can peaches
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Spread softened butter or margarine in bottom of 9-inch square cake pan.
    Sprinkle brown sugar evenly on butter or margarine and arrange peaches on top of the mixture.
    Prepare cake batter according to package directions, then pour batter over fruit.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Loosen sides of cake with spatula.
    Place serving plate over cake and turn upside down immediately.
    Allow parts to rest over cake before removing.
    Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
