Ingredients

1/2 lb. suet
1/2 lb. currants
1/2 lb. raisins
1/2 lb. sugar
1/4 lb. stale bread crumbs
1/4 lb. flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 level tsp. each: ground cloves, nutmeg and ginger
grated rind of 2 lemons
1/2 lb. citron or orange peel
1/2 c. grape juice
Preparation

Chop the suet finely; cut the peel into small pieces.
Put suet, currants, raisins and peel in large bowl.
Add lemon rind, sugar, spices, flour and bread crumbs.
Moisten with the well-beaten eggs and grape juice.
