Oreo Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) pkg. Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies
1/3 c. margarine, melted
3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs (room temperature)
1 c. dairy sour cream
whipped cream (for garnish)

Preparation

Finely roll 30 cookies; coarsely chop 20 cookies.
In bowl, combine finely rolled cookie crumbs and margarine.
Press on bottom and 2 inches up side of 9-inch spring-form pan; set aside.
In bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
Blend in eggs, sour cream and vanilla; fold in chopped cookies.
Spread mixture into prepared crust.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes or until set.
Cool on wire rack at room temperature.
Chill at least 4 hours.
Halve remaining cookies; remove side of pan.
