Randy'S Favorite Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Wash 6 medium size potatoes.
    Cook 15 minutes in boiling salted water.
    Peel and cut into slices.
    Put into a well-buttered baking dish.
    Baste with a syrup made by boiling for 3 minutes 1 cup sugar, water and butter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until brown and candied.
    Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg on top.
