Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. bag Kraft caramels
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    5 oz. can evaporated milk
    1 stick melted margarine
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
    Combine remaining milk (approximately 1/4 cup), cake mix and melted margarine.
    Mix well.
    Press half the cake mixture onto the bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
    Take out of oven.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and 1/4 cup walnuts over this layer.
    Drizzle caramel mixture over this.
    Top with teaspoonfuls of remaining cake mixture.
    Press gently into caramel mixture.
    Sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Cool slightly and then chill. Cut into squares and enjoy.
