Bourbon Glaze For Ribs And Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/3 c. oil
    1 c. onion, finely chopped
    2/3 c. ketchup
    2/3 c. bourbon
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/3 c. unsulphured molasses
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add oil, heat 2 minutes.
    Add onion, cook until golden brown.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, stirring frequently.
    Cook until it forms a glaze, at low heat.
    Excellent with ribs or chicken.
