Italian Sausage Soup With Tortellini - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Italian sausage (ground in casing, not solid kind)
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
4 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes, chopped
2 c. water
1 tsp. fennel seed
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (9 oz.) pkg. tortellini noodles
Preparation

Remove sausage casing and crumble in large pot.
Add garlic and onion and cook until meat is browned.
Drain off grease.
Add tomatoes, water, fennel and pepper.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Cook tortellini according to package directions.
Drain and add to other ingredients.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
