Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries
    15 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple
    2 firm bananas
    9 oz. carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Stir in frozen strawberries and add pineapple (including juice).
    Slice bananas and place in bottom of mold (9-inch fluted).
    Add half of jello mixture to the bananas.
    Place in mold in refrigerator.
    Put remaining jello mixture in bowl and refrigerate.
    When partially set, remove bowl and fold in Cool Whip until mixture is pink.
    Spread this pink mixture over banana mixture in mold.
    Chill overnight or until firm.
    Can be made 2 days ahead.
    Serves 15.
    This makes pretty salad for Christmas or Valentine's day.
