Victoria Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. thin cream
    1 c. grated coconut
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/3 c. or more chopped candied cherries
    1/3 c. or more chopped candied pineapple
    a pinch of salt
    1/4 c. butter
    2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cook sugar and cream together to form a soft ball.
    Add butter.
    Cool to room temperature, 110\u00b0.
    Beat until almost creamy.
    Add coconut, fruits, nuts and flavoring.
    Pour into a shallow, well buttered pan.
    Cool.
    Cut into squares.
