Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. finely chopped apples
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream sugar, shortening and egg until fluffy.
Add chopped apples, flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, soda and salt.
Mix well. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch greased and lightly floured baking pan. Combine brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and nuts; sprinkle over batter.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
Serve with whipped cream.
