Mom'S Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    8 pineapple rings
    8 cherries
Preparation
    Use a number 8 cast-iron pan.
    Melt brown sugar and butter. Mix all other ingredients well (except pineapple and cherries). Place pineapple in pan.
    Pour batter onto top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Let stand 15 minutes to cool.
    Flip onto plate and place cherries in center of pineapple.
