Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or 1/2 butter and 1/2 Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Stir into first mixture.
    Chill.
    Shape into walnut size balls.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until lightly browned but still soft, 8 to 10 minutes.
