Soft Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. molasses
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    4 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    7 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well until a soft dough.
    Roll out on a floured board.
    Cut out.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
    Yields about 100 cookies.
