Rhubarb Conserve - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. rhubarb
    5 c. sugar
    3 c. weak vinegar
    2 oranges
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. seedless raisins
    2 c. black walnut meats
Preparation
    Wash rhubarb; cut into pieces.
    Pour boiling water over it and let stand 3 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add sugar, vinegar, spices, grated rind and juice of oranges and raisins cut into pieces.
    Cook slowly until thick.
    Add chopped nuts.
    Pour into sterilized glasses.
