Baked Doves - cooking recipe

bacon slices
cooking sherry
butter
Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Place doves breast side down in rectangular pan and add 1/2 teaspoon
butter\tin
each
breast
cavity.
Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce over bird and gently wrap 1/2 slice bacon over
each dove.
Sprinkle approximately 2 tablespoons cooking sherry over
birds.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake 2 to 3 hours at 300\u00b0;
serve with rice or grits.
