Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 c. chopped black walnuts
4 eggs
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together and stir into creamed mixture. Stir in the vanilla and milk.
Add the black walnuts, then eggs and mix well.
Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until cake is done.
