Southern Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 c. cake flour (plain)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time.
Add eggs, 1 at a time.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add flour and vanilla.
Bake in a 10-inch tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until done.
