Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick soft butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
    5 egg whites, beaten
Preparation
    Using an electric mixer, beat well butter, Crisco and sugar. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each yolk.
    Sift together flour and soda.
    Add alternately with buttermilk, then add vanilla, coconut and nuts.
    Last, fold in egg whites, beaten stiff. Bake in three 8-inch pans at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done. Cool on wire rack.
