Buttermilk Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 stick margarine
    3 eggs
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla.
    Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
    This is a soft cookie. When storing them, put waxed paper between layers so they don't stick together.
