Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sharp cheese, grated and at room temperature
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Cream cheese and vegetable
    oil.
    Add
    salt,
    soda
    and pepper to sifted flour.
    Add
    slowly until all dry ingredients are mixed well.
    Press out
    with electric cookie press or make balls and press on pan.
    Bake
    on
    ungreased\tbaking\tsheet at 300\u00b0 for about 30 minutes
    or
    until firm, but not brown.
    Cut into desired size as soon as you remove from oven.
