Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Add flour, soda and salt, mix well.
Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts.
Mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies, 12 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack.
Makes about 5 dozen.
