Gingerbread 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1 c. dark molasses
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Put oil, sugar, molasses and spices in bowl; beat until syrupy.
    Add flour, soda and salt sifted together alternately with buttermilk.
    Put in a greased 8 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until it tests done.
    (There are no eggs in the recipe.)
