Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    grated rind of 1 lemon
Preparation
    Add all dry ingredients in bowl, then add other ingredients. Mix well with mixer.
    Add grated rind and chopped nuts.
    Pour into well-greased and floured loaf pan with wax paper in bottom. Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Bake for 1 hour or until done.
