Ingredients

2 qt. milk
1/2 stick butter
4 eggs, beaten
4 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat milk and butter to a skim stage.
Add blended flour and sugar to beaten eggs.
Pour into kettle with milk.
Bring to a hard boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add cans of evaporated milk and condensed milk with vanilla.
Cool in refrigerator.
Pour into a 5-quart ice cream maker.
Add salt and ice to freeze custard (around outside of canister).
