Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. milk
    1 doz. eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 pkg. small vanilla pudding and pie mix (not instant)
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix yolks and 1 cup sugar.
    Slowly add milk while stirring. Place pot on low fire.
    Add vanilla pudding, 1 tablespoon nutmeg and 2 tablespoons vanilla.
    Stir and let get good and hot.
    Do not boil.
    Beat egg whites and add 1 cup sugar gradually until good and foamy.
    Put in pot with milk.
    Mix with mixer for a few seconds and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Serve.
