Butter Nut Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1 c. nuts
12 oz. bag chocolate chips, melted
Preparation

Boil first 5 ingredients in pan.
Boil to crackling stage (300\u00b0 on candy thermometer).
Remove from heat; add 1 cup nuts and pour on a buttered cookie sheet.
Add melted chocolate over top and spread.
When cool, break into pieces.
