Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
4 c. flour or bread flour
1 tsp. light salt (optional)
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Egg Beaters, beaten (1/4 c.)
nonfat cooking spray
coarse salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in 1 1/2 cups warm water.
Add 4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon sugar.
Mix well.
On a lightly floured surface, knead the mixture well with your hands.
Roll pieces of dough into any shape you like.
Place them on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with a nonfat cooking spray.
In a small bowl, beat Egg Beaters. Brush the tops of the dough with the Egg Beaters.
Sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake the pretzels at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Yield:
18 big soft pretzels.
