Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. bread crumbs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place bread crumbs in 1 1/2-quart dish. Scald milk with 1/4 cup butter. Blend all ingredients. Place baking dish in pan of hot water 1-inch deep. Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
    Pudding will be done when knife is inserted 1-inch from edge of pan and comes out clean. Serve warm with cream over top.
