Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium bunch broccoli, cut small*
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    2 c. heavy cream
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    chopped chives for garnish
Preparation
    Cook broccoli in boiling, salted water until just tender; drain.
    Reserve 1 cup liquid.
    Melt butter.
    Add onion and cook until soft.
    Blend in flour.
    Add broth and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
    Stir in 1 cup liquid reserved from broccoli, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt and pepper.
    Add broccoli; heat to boiling.
    Stir in cheese. Serve sprinkled with chives.
    Makes about 2 quarts.
