Oriental Chicken Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. sugar
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. grated ginger root
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 chicken breasts, boned and cubed
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. water
1/3 c. water chestnuts, finely chopped
1 green onion, chopped
1 can (10 oz.) Hungry Jack flaky biscuits
sesame seed or poppy seed
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine sugar, ginger, garlic and soy sauce in a medium skillet.
Cook to boiling.
Add chicken.
Cook 3 to 4 minutes until chicken becomes opaque.
Remove from heat. Remove chicken from ginger liquid.
Combine cornstarch and water. Stir into the ginger liquid.
Return to heat and heat to boiling, stirring continuously.
Cook until clear and thickened.
Stir in chicken, chestnuts and onion.
Remove from heat.
Cool 10 minutes.
