Italian Sausage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage, cut into pieces
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatoes, mashed
    2 cans (14 oz. each) beef broth
    1 tsp. leaf basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    2 zucchini, thinly sliced
    1 to 2 c. water
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    In skillet, brown sausage and drain well.
    Add all ingredients to crock-pot.
    Stir well.
    Cover and cook on low setting 12 to 14 hours.
    Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
