Orange Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour
2 Tbsp. orange peel, grated
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 box chopped dates
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs until fluffy.
Add butter, sugar, buttermilk, vanilla, flour, orange peel, dates, soda, and pecans.
Spoon into greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
Bake at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Test with toothpick or straw.
When done, punch with ice pick.
