Tomato And Pastina Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 (13 oz.) can chicken broth
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. fennel seed, crushed
1 (35 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 c. egg pastina
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

In large pan, saute onion and garlic in oil for approximately 3 minutes.
Add chicken broth, Italian seasoning and fennel seed; bring to a boil.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes with juice and pastina; bring to a boil.
Cover; simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 6.
